John Whitford

I found this to be an interesting and thought provoking film. I believe that the majority of the negative feedback is based on people expecting this to be a documentary on the subject of the movie, or anything other than a FICTIONAL DRAMA! Sometimes a movie with little explanation of events is better for entertainment than something bloated and over-explained. Could this movie have been made with a deeper plot that tries to explain things in more detail... probably, but I personally don't think it would have been better for it. This was short and sweet and I felt the acting was very good. The only thing I might have wanted more of was the role of Dr. Fuchs ( Clarke Peters). Then again, sometimes a little of a good thing is just enough.

This generations 'Idiocracy'. It was a little uneven at times, some scenes and acting not over the top enough, but really hit all the right buttons. The people who won't get it are the ones it is aimed at. Ron Perlman is maybe a little under used, but maybe any more than we got would be too much. Lawrence is very understated, and well performed. Her brief discussion with her parents was brilliant and so true to life in the world we are living in. DeCaprio plays his role perfectly.
