The OG Mean Girls movie is a classic and has a legacy that is hard to create in a second film. After reading all the other reviews, I am honestly disappointed in the viewers. I mean everyone has their opinion, but I thought this movie was actually pretty good. It had good romance, some familiar faces and pretty good acting. Yea there are off scenes that aren’t so great but hey, no movie is absolutely perfect. It’s just a movie, there’s going to be parts some don’t enjoy and others do. Sure it’s a typical teen movie where a new girl comes, makes a choice she’ll regret, gets bullied, fights back, makes friends, gets with cute boyfriend, gets found out about her choice, loses friends, loses boyfriends, friends come back, they fight back together and all is well. It’s predictable and typical but that’s what high school movies are all about. Mean Girls one cannot be passed up, but I do think they did a really good job on this one. You can’t compare this movie to the original, cmon guys no remake is better than the original. It’s very rare, so when not comparing it, I think it was a pretty good movie. Good job to the crew and cast!
