I saw the movie last night on TCM. What a powerful performance by Andy Griffith and Patricia Neal. I can't believe Griffith didn't win an Oscar, let alone wasn't nominated. This was another bad oversight by Hollywood along with Burl Ives for Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and Robert Shaw for Jaws.
