I can't believe Netflix has mediocre content like 'Bard of Blood' on it. Hero/ main spy Emran Hashmi overbrimming with testosterone, another sexist spy, Vineet Singh who btw is a very good actor and spy with the IQ of a pigeon, Sobhita(Made in heaven fame) whose main job is to just echo random dialogues are supposed to be in the lead roles. Also, plot poop and loopholes like the 90s Bollywood style fight scenes where a security guard is facing towards the building he is supposed to protect, Spies discussing important matters in public, 1 guy killing 50 terrorists, young widow stereotyped, throwing weapon for a hand to hand combat with your enemy, the list goes on... are quite a letdown. Watch only if you have nothing better to do! The only silver lining should be for Kirti Kulhari who has acted really well and probably hasn't chosen this part only because it has a big brand(Red Chillies) associated with it.

Fanney Khan "could have been" a brilliant movie but sadly it's not, due to a very weak storyline. There is an aspiring teenage singer who is always body shamed irrespective of her talent. This topic could have been handled brilliantly and could have been used to send out a message but NADA. Neither she practices music, nor she exercises and instead is always charging like a bull at her Dad for absolutely no reason and it gets really irritating. Seriously why?? Silver lining: Rajkumar Rao and Aishwarya Rai have a brilliant chemistry and hopefully they will be paired up soon again. The provide amazing comic relief and I wish they had more screen time. Anil Kapoor and Divta Dutta have also played their part perfectly. Pihu is losing out here only because her track was half cooked. For a musical, the music is below par. Watch only if you are done with every other movie.
