That the producers/directors let the camerapersons show the audiences reaction while the acts are in progress is bizarre and detracts tremendously from the acts I tune in to see. It greatly diminishes my interest in watching the program. Not only could I care less about what the audience or the judges are thinking and doing when the acts are in process but that sad routine detracts so much -making me miss any part of the acts - that I rarely watch anymore; and only when he wife invites me to watch with her.
Do the directors actually believe that the audience is watching to see the acts continuously interrupted by scanning the audience and the judges for their reactions? I turn to AGT to see the talent not the judges or the audience while the acts are in process. Who is in charge of ruining the viewing experience like that? It might be show business but a sad situation if it is!
