A light hearted fun, beautiful (the scenery and the people) flirty show to fill a rainy afternoon. Nothing more. Very predictable, unrealistic (a different $5000 handbag each day on a presumably entry level salary) and sometimes too simplistic and insensitive to both cultures - I feel I can say that without bias being a born and bred Australian with a very French father. If you don’t read to much into it, it’s an enjoyable watch and a nice escape from Covid lockdown.
