In my opinion, this is one of the best family oriented TV shows ever produced. It instills great family values, particularly to children. This is largely due to keeping biblical values first and foremost in the episodes. This shows the value of keeping God in our daily lives and how He works to protect and provide for us. I encourage anyone who has a hunger for good family values to watch and learn from this TV series. This was truly Michael Landon's crown jewel in his life.
