I like this show a lot. I've learned a lot about common ailments/injuries in pets and farm animals both. I like Dr Pol's common, comfortable approach towards veterinary care, and the fact he isn't running a high-dollar, fancy practice. A lot of people are put off from seeking medical care for their pets because of cost. If more vets used Dr. Pol's common-sense, plain approach to pet/animal medicine, I think a lot more people would do more for their pets in a lot of cases.
What I find most interesting about the show are the reindeer at Rooftop Landing. I never realized that a reindeer can be so delicate! I always figured since they are Arctic animals they were tough as rhinos, and that doesn't appear to be the case with some of Dr. Brenda's visits there. You learn something new every day, and on Dr. Pol's show, every episode.
