I was in shock at the end by such unique directing. I literally stared at the screen both excited and confused, never having seen a movie in that format. Regardless of the future negative points mentioned, I enjoy and find the movie very artistic, full of voice and thought and talent. Looking back with a more logical viewpoint rather than full of only positive emotions of its newness, I conclude that the format of “back and forth” brought speed and the mind may have been put more at ease with less of it... even with its speed of changing, the film seemed long. The main issue I had was the script being modern and not of that time period. I understand the whole idea was perhaps to be modernized... just threw me off personally.

I liked the acting very much and everything was done very well yet it was about a very sad moment in history and I do not consider using humor even satire with this actual historical trauma as respectful to Jews. I am not a Jew but I walked out of the movie (only time I have walked out). I can not give this review appropriately considering I did not watch the whole movie but I have too strong of a moral compass and conscience to feel comfortable watching this as I felt I was participating in disrespecting Jews. Perhaps I’m too emotional or empathetic and serious but did anyone else feel this way at the first part of the movie?
