ZARI TOMAZ

One of my favorite series to date!!! It even beats Divergent or The Hate U Give, which are also some of my favorite books. The characters are so relatable and memorable and just normal, with different friendship dynamics between the "Rampion Crew" that remind me of my own friends. The characters are based off of different characters from fairy tales with a villain who is based off of the Evil Queen in Snow White. The books have a political aspect too, as characters include those from the military and even an emperor. The writing style is so unique and actually adds to the story line so well! I also love that it's sci-fi as well. The story is set in the future and includes a colony on the moon with the ability to manipulate bioelectrical manipulation because one of the Lunars, a long time ago, were exposed to radioactive energy. The villain is so complex and manipulative! The characters all have different personalities that adds to the book in its own way, and I just love how they all act like a group of friends even when saving the world. There are twists and turns that will not allow you to stop turning the pages. Some of the events are based off the original fairy tales as well. Strong leads that don't wait for their princes and save the world. Marissa meyer ties everything up beautifully!
