As someone with degrees in history and knowledgeable on the Battle of Midway, this movie was, simply put, awful. The amount of historical inaccuracies is egregious. I lost count of them. The truly sad part is many people will assume it’s factual and forever believe “this is how it happened”. That aside, some cool special effects.
