I’m gonna give it two stars, but that’s only because I look at this movie as its own standalone film and not apart of the original three, I won’t hate the new cast, cause for what it’s worth they weren’t all bad. But here’s why I give it two, the movie didn’t need to be made, and was sadly a failed attempt at reviving the book to live action series. The comedy wasn’t the best but the one thing I truly liked about the film was the relationships, such as the original three it centered around relationships, Greg and Rowley (movie 1), Greg and Rodrick (movie 2), Greg and his dad (movie 3), but for this movie (4 I guess) it finally gave spotlight to Greg and his moms relationship, yes it’s been seen a lot in the other movies but she got a movie where her and Greg got to build upon their relationship. Other than that it’s not a movie I like rewatching

I know a lot of people won’t like this movie, but I found it to be amazing, the babysitter want a movie that needed a sequel, but they managed to make one and it was great, I love the cast as well as the new girl phoebe, and the story was ok, I liked the personality changes for our protagonist and overall it was a great movie, I really liked it
