The show is awful. Terrible , over the top, acting with a storyline that is trying to be "brave" by moving away from the books. Woeful decision.
Also, the monologues from various characters are laughable at their attempt for sincerity / insight into religion and / or societal development. The Foundation trilogy is genius, this TV show is polar opposite. If they ruin The Mule....
