Full of plot holes, stupid characters and unnecessary narration. To be fair this is my first time watching anime, but I guess I made a poor choice. It has a lot of things happening without any convincing explanation, for example, shinichi's friend whose brother is a detective, literally sees a parasite changing his appearance and even after knowing how dangerous they are she decides the best course of action would be to confront him with a bottle of acid, for god's sake! And let's not even start with the ending because I was left thinking whether it's even the same show. It's not worth watching even after keeping the logic aside because the characters are really boring and so is the story.

An okay story line ruined by horrible acting and poor direction.
