Secret Army was a classic BBC drama set in Belgium during the German occupation and the resistance organisation that rescues RAF pilots and crew who bailed out of their planes after having been hit. Wonderful actors like Bernard Hepton, Angela Richards, Clifford Rose, and Juliet Hammond- Hill, and Valentine Dyall. Plus a brilliant supporting cast. Wonderful theme music by Robert Farnon. For a war time drama. This has never been beaten.
