Given the choice of watching this mentally circumnavigating crocodile feed or watching a family member's toenails growing, I would heartily recommend the latter. I failed to engage with any scene whatsoever and confess not making it to the end, being confused as to whether or not this is a comedy.

Watch this in one sitting, I am still shaking!

Christian Bale, Steve Carell and Brad Pitt all play superlatively determined characters in a film that pleasingly explains the financial crash. I have watched this a few times now and it is still as fresh as the first time. There have been one or two negative reviews, and I kinda get their points, but I still think they have judged it on lesser criteria (and in line with personal political viewpoints) which leads to say this isn't for everyone. But it is a tightly scripted, expressive and well paced film which will keep the more intrigued viewer glued to the end. And we all know what happens in the end. This is like "Titanic" in that sense...
