They definitely get to the "nuts and bolts" about military service. Glad they dropped the story line about SOCS living paycheck to paycheck though, or hope they did. I understand they were trying to bring to light the plight of finances in the military (especially in the junior ranks) but focusing on a SEAL Senior Chief to explain this is a stretch. I mean this dude brings home almost 6 figures (before taxes) and he was sweating his mortgage with only one kid at home (at the time)? Was there a gambling addiction in that story line somewhere?
Kinda think they take major Hollywood freedoms with YN1 as well. I mean, is she admin? Drone pilot? Parachute Rigger? TOC leader? All the above? What is LCDR doing while she is shot calling, other than checking off way points on the white board? haha
And for the love of all things tactical........take off those high speed patches while operating. Blood type only please....
Great show though. Really hits you in the feels with rich story lines, great acting, production value and endings that are not always happy/satisfying (i.e. military service)
