People who have a problem with this, truly don’t want to recognize the fact that it’s a film and things will be wrong and taken out of proportion to create thrill. However, I can agree that the acting isn’t A+ and the best character is definitely the dog. All in all, it’s worth a watch and you deserve to make your own opinion on it after you watch it.

For what it’s worth, the contemporary adaptation is ingenious. Give it a try, seriously. The acting is good, the visuals and technique of how it’s filmed gives off its own eeriness, and Mark Hamill’s portrayal is very creepy. I enjoyed it, and I thought that it was going to flop when I decided to watch it just for the hell of it. Did not disappoint.
