Overall this was a very good film. It would have been even better if the timeline transitions were more defined and if at least one or two of the conflicts between Amy and Blake had have been more detailed rather than just seeing the aftermath. Other than that a great film and highly recommended.

In a similar vein to the first film, it's average at best adding nothing new to the genre. This is what happens when you present a Star wars movie without the Star wars.

Loved this film. Very well made and although I'd kind of worked out the main plot line, it didn't turn out quite as I'd guessed. I was intrigued all of the way through. Recommended.

6/10 rating from me. Not bad, but not the best Sci-Fi or fantasy movie you'll ever see. It doesn't pull you into the lore and mythology as a SW or LOTR film would and that's because what there is isn't as compelling. The fight and action scenes are well structured and choreographed but there's an overuse of slow mo action. However, the visuals are stunning and up there with best in class. I am looking forward to the next installment in April.
