Cora Helseth

This series is a vanity piece for white Americans, it portrays French people as though they are jealous of Americans and gives no thought towards actual French culture beyond simple stereotypes. Lily Collins plays a skinny, white girl who is rude, ignorant, has no personality, and yet still seems to be admired by others in the show because she's American. In addition the only two main cast members of color play characters that are simply there to be used as plot devices for "diversity" and mild racist jokes.
