While it may not be the joker you knew back then and it's different in every way, you have to admit that this film lived up to its reputation. Bone chilling laughter Phoenix had and the way that it gets worse for Arthur as it progresses is just dark. The terrifying change of his facial expression is wildly haunting (in a good way) and how relaxed and free he felt when people worshipped for taking matters into his own hands! A start to insanity, well done Phoenix! Well done friend! Joker is 5 star for me!
