As someone who watched the original wind club as a kid, this new Winx club had some changes. My favorite characters were Beatrix, bloom, sky, riven, Stella, and Musa. Beatrix was an antagonist in the storyline. She went to alfea as a cover, and she was trying to break out a person.. (I’m not going to say who I’m not trying to spoil). She was supper funny and made the show. Her and rivers friendship was very unique and made the show even better Bloom starts off as a girl from California who finds out she’s a fairy, then find out her parents she’s lived with are not her real parents. She was supper relatable. Her and the rest of the cast look supper nice and the show was just supper enjoyable Sky starts of single then becomes in a relationship with Stella for a second time. They break up then our FAV power couple starts with him and bloom. He is supper hot and a really good fighter with daddy issues. Then we have riven who is one of the bad boy types who smokes and does drugs. Him and Beatrix relationship made the show amazing and he is also hot. Stella is the kind of mean girl. Throughout the episodes we see why she is mean and it’s because her mother teaches her to use anger for her powers. While her and blooms relationship are not the same as the original, at the end we start to see some type of alliance and friendship blossom between the girl’s. Finally musa, even though she is white washed you come to love the actor playing the character. We have the mother drama and her being able to feel people’s emotions. While she can’t go fight along side of the other fairies yet, she can help people when they are not feeling the greatest. Overall I give this Netflix show a 10/10, and am really wanting another season!
