Honestly it's just beautiful, the producers and the script writers show in innate understanding of what makes the game so beautiful, and the lore behind and are able to effectively link it to a TV adaptation and even add on to it, touching upon the finer things of life such as the ideas of humanity. The actors are just amazing and are able to bring it all together in real life. This is what an adaptation from a video game should be like.

One word “zootopia porn”, like that is something that shouldn’t be remotely close to something in resident evil but yet somehow it’s now in the show. Now I will say I do have some biases as a fan of the game series and I understand the game lore can be kinda of dumb at times like “jill sandwich” but this a far cry from the game it takes inspiration from. The writing is bad, it’s practically teen drama mixed with a bit of zombies. Honesty you can slap any generic zombie show title and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from this and resident evil.

Honestly, this movie was pretty bad story wise, but I mean if u go into the movie with a open mind.... maybe u might enjoy it. Overall, it just feels like a plot hole ridden movie supported by poor character development and compensated by great action scenes. We never see much character development and that affects how we sympathize with the main character. There’s no actual danger, as we really don’t see anything new, “oh another liquid terminator (even though skynet doesn’t exist it’s still called a terminator), I wonder what will they do?”. Overall if you’re just in it for action this might be great but if you really want a good story and something that makes sense, I would entirely skip this movie.
