I loved yellowstone from day one but I was hesitant about these prequels so I held off now having watched the whole ten episodes I can honestly say this mini epic is the best show I've ever seen it's unbelievable good and in a few years I will watch this again for me band of brothers was always the pinical of the epic mini series but this 1883 is the true gift. Just let this show wash over you there's a reason this franchise goes from strength to to strength its a thousand stars show

This movie is amazingly beautiful the tone and the story are completely perfect in every way. I have seen this move tons of times and every time it's simply perfect The fact that she wrote two sequels to this which ties up the who story line is so good. I recommend watching the move then reading the two sequels as they will never put them on film and its worth it just to see the life she ends up living and it has the perfect ending in book three. With all the the rubbish movies Hollywood have been realising, I have no idea why they don't just make these two books or even compress books two and three together, the audience is there. To see these book put on film would be a great but like I said too much time has past so watch the movie and then either audio or read the follow ups it really is worth it.

Is the snyder cut better than this version some parts of that movie are. But that's a 4 hour movie and it feels like an 8 hour one if you can get through the first 37 minutes the movie does improve, but to get there you have to sit through 2 terrible songs that were not needed and some useless extended scenes. The main protagonist is much better in the extended cut so just for that reason it's a better version than this one. Don't believe the hype both movies are good movies but there not great and there never going to be any kind of sequel or follow up. I recommend watching both versions so you can see the pros and cons plus 2 is always better than one.
