I'm a fan of the DC universe characters and story lines. Let's be honost here. DC movies are competing with Marvel in the sense of bringing our favorite characters to life. The Avengers movies, along with Ironman, Captain America, etc. never really let me down. I never walked away from a Marvel movie thinking it was absolutely horrible ( maybe with the exception of Captain Marvel, which wasn't terrible but left me wanting more). They are all entertaining and keep people coming back for more. When I imagine Marvel characters, I see Robert Downy JR. Chris Evans, Scarlett, Don Cheadle, Chris Evans, Hemsworth, Ruffalo, Cumberbatch, etc as really bringing them to life.
I've only seen each DC movie one time and that was enough for me. I tried rewatching them but the movies don't command my attention with the acting or action sequences. I've seen all the Marvel movies at least 2-3 times.
I think DC has set the bar rather low and I did not go into WW84 with high expectations but I left the door open for redemption. Sadly, the door has been shut.
The producers & directors should take a few hints from Marvel's production team and style of movie.
P.S. The Dark Knight trilogy were the only DC movies that I can rewatch and fully enjoy each time.
