If you like art, the history of a female successful artist, from the 50's till today, a live wire 89 year old artist still painting in her studio, the moving film will grab you and you won't forget it.

I'm still learning about love at age 75 and these episodes, based on a best selling novel, have helped deepen my awareness of joy and pain. The acting is outstanding, the plot engrossing, and I am grateful, very, for the experience.

Truly appreciated the cast and the wholeness of the film. Can't one imagine a tragedy that impacts the lives of so many damaged people? Annette Bennng was perfect as the psychiatrist and she stayed with her patient almost minutely. Did she tell him too soon his truth, which he could not manage. His traumatized brain attacked him but his offspring remained and created more life. If one distanced from this film, one could find an ironic humor at the way the pieces fit together. If one doesn't distance, one can learn about morality and love.
