I must admit that the movie started to be very intriguing and had me question whether they really were being haunted or indeed it was all due to hysteria. As the story progress it became clearer how weak the storyline was and shallow of a plot it is. Comical even. Overuse of CGI effects, scare tactics were poor, the character build up was lacking. Overall it's not effective.
