I'd never had any interest in Sherlock Holmes until I saw his portrayal by Jeremy Brett. I loved the show and when he passed away I really felt a loss. I've also greatly enjoyed Benedict Cumberbatch's Holmes, but they are two different creatures. I think I miss Brett the most.
