I thought the acting and directing of this movie was fantastic. However, this was possibly one of the worst and most frustrating writing I’ve ever watched in a movie. You get absolutely no further answers about what causes this apocalyptic event aside from “ominous invisible presence”. The fact that the writer takes you through this entire plot without any explanations shows how they lack so much creativity to think of explainations for their viewers.
