I'm gonna try and avoid spoilers where I can here! I'm going to split this film into two halves for my review. The first half is really terrible, a truly awful film. However, at the same time it is also funny. Some of this is intentional, and some of it isn't, so it is really hard to tell when the film is trying to be funny or not. For its second half the film progresses into mediocrity. This half has some passable emotional moments, but nothing to write home about. However, there are still a couple of really cool visual moments in this half. So overall: the film starts off so bad it's good and becomes mediocre with a couple of standout moments.

This film is funny, with two likeable, strong lead characters. It has some great performances, from these said leads, and some good cameos. However, although fun, I would not say it is a masterpiece. Sharon Tate gets very little dialogue and there is some narration about 2/3rds of the way through which took me out of the film. I am also not sure about the finale, although I have heard from many who like it. So, I would definitely watch this film and would say it is very enjoyable, however I dont think it is one of Tarantino's best.

I was disappointed by this film, due to the way it ended an entire saga of films. I thought it tried to pack too much in to one film, suffered from generic structuring and plot at the beginning, and had some ridiculous plot points towards the end. Theres some good stuff between Rey and Kylo Ren and the music is as good as always, and I was never bored. However, if you're not a big fan of the franchise I'd give this one a miss. If you are a big fan, I understand you probably can't miss it so I would warn you to prepare yourself. It was thought provoking, but in the worst way possible.
