It is a wonderful movie with a theme that is beyond description. This is what was happening during slavery days. May God help the downtrodden and helpless people wherever they are.

Story is different from other drama/family movies. Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini acted superbly. Besides, the music by RD Burman and the songs are for all time.
