This movie shows the depths of the severity of the mortgage crisis, but fails to detail the corruption within the government that allowed this to happen. It portrays Henry "Hank" Paulsen as this genius who is the only one with true insight into how to fix the problem, but fails to acknowledge the fact that as a former CEO of Goldman, he was majorly responsible for the crash. There were other major players in the events that we never hear from, like Larry Summers, Rick Rubin and the spawn of Satan himself, Alan Greenspan. If you want more facts, watch "Inside Job" instead. This movie is more propaganda than anything. However, the actors acquit themselves adequately given the drivel they're forced to work with.
