Trish Hennessey

This show fuels me. It's beyond civilized. It's spiritual FOOD. I adore Joe Morton as Dad - he is the glue to me. Stupid, for sure - but I never mind hearing him say "Trish" with love in his voice :) Miles and the crew are phenomenal. CBS needs to make the commitment to keep "God Friended Me" for a long time. We NEED it to keep our heads together in these perilous times. As long as we get fresh scripts and interesting characters to befriend, this baby can float for quite a while. MAKE IT SO, CBS!

Gotta say, the endless teasers about this show had me hooked. But then the actual SHOW has me hooked even more. Being raised Catholic but now not practicing, the concept was intriguing. I believe in Jesus to the nines and was curious as to how an unbeliever in SO much was going to handle the onslaught of what this story might throw at her. Within 10 minutes, I jumped out of my chair. Seriously. This is not going to be a favorite for everyone. But for those of us who are intensely spiritually inclined and fascinated with the journeys of those who awaken, "Evil" is going to be an obsession. If CBS allows it to thrive! Intelligent, quirky, sometimes downright weird, the appeal for nerds and those who view themselves evolved is a no-brainer.

This is gonna hurt - but it has to be said. Gayle King did REALLY well when she was a "team" player. Not the chosen leader for the ensemble. Anthony Mason is a natural - Gayle is not. The vibe is weird with Anthony, Tony & Gayle. What would offset the weirdness: take Michelle Miller off Saturdays and put her in the mix. FOUR is wonderful. Michelle makes Anthony happier. And she brightens the mood in WHATEVER circumstances that surround her. If you had those four in the A.M., I think that the show might sizzle and pop. Also if you'd let Gayle know that she IS a team player and not Head Cheese.
