Awful, very poor adaptation, too much jumping to list war, read and follow the book, too PC,waste of fee payers money, s best disappointment, BBC missed a golden opportunity and instead produced a very poor second rate program .insult to H G Wells, Jeff Wayne's musical version is the best ever british production, sadly cringe worthy BBC series us not in same league.
