Why in the heck did the inside of the spaceship look so old school..I seen better technology in class b 50 syfy movies...I mean a wired remote control and tube tv..what were they thinking

Wanted really to like this new Star Trek Picard.. thought the acting to be somewhat subpar and the special effects just okay...it was the story lines on this particular series somewhat confusing ,I'll try the other star trek show on Paramount

So you survived after your captors barbecue and eat your severed limbs ,you get the hots for the leader.. I personally would have stayed with pot smokers and pill poppers group..needless to say, what a bizarre movie!
