A wonderful and solid tactical RPG that has a huge place in my heart.

Excellent visuals and character design, but lacking enough story decision dynamics.

The game is amazing in some ways, but extremely lackluster in others. The character and world design is amazing, but the story is quite flat and uninspired, especially compared to it's predecessor. Many of the enemy bosses seem to be designed in such a way that only one game mechanic can be used to defeat them, removing the joy of experimentation with the multitude of unique jobs available, and many of the jobs seem entirely bland and pointless, except for a single ability that they might learn at a high level. While I enjoyed this game, it has zero replayability for me.

I remove a star for Finale trolling. Otherwise it would have been an easy 4.

A truly atrocious adaptation, nearly whitewashed out of all faithfulness to the books.
