I am neither religious nor a huge tv viewer. I stumbled across this during the pandemic and I was HOOKED! I stayed up inhaling this show. The costumes, the music, the decor- everything. From the characters to the scenery of Memphis I feel in love. This show has it all. I am sure some people may be offended because it shows every hot situation or current issue but these things Happen and should be represented as they in today’s real world. Domestic violence, drugs, infidelity, fraud, lying, cheating, bullying- bad parenting- on the flip side - it shows healing - forgiveness- family- true marriage- true siblings- dealing with re-connecting- - how you people live with decisions. And how women, real women treat each other. This was a great - look - rare- because - it’s hard to explain how women treat each other but this show got it right!! Perfect back door stuff. I loved it. PLEASE make another season. Forget Bridgerton!!! I want Green Leaf !
