Three glamorous girls and an aspiring actor are set to shoot a horror film with an ouija board in exotic Langkawi. Their mission to frighten others ends up giving them the scares, as they stumble upon a spirit, another hot girl, who is out to kill them.
There are two ways that horror can sell. One is packing the film with a lot of chills and thrills, with an overload of darkness and sound effects. The other is ensuring the film is laced with enough hot girls, sexy numbers and short outfits, making the scary thrills an added bonus. Clearly, the filmmaker has chosen to go the second way, much like the scary franchises in Bollywood, which have featured faces like Sunny Leone in them.
This film has a story but most of it is also like an extended party with well-shot music videos. Though, there are necessary frights in the second half and the story seems to arrive at some sort of a logical deduction by the time we reach the climax.
Should you watch this? It has good looking women, some foot-tapping numbers and exotic locations, with some relatively decent frights. So, you take the call if that is what a trip to the multiplex means to you.
