Amazing game! Story driven open world game with likable characters, engaging story, interesting game mechanics and pleasent gameplay. At first it looks like another zombie apocalypse game but quite soon the story kicks in and changes everything. The real fun though starts whith the hordes. What looks intimidating at first becomes a real gem later in the game. Another thing worth mentioning are the skills. The game lacks a complex skill three and you'll probably end up with all skills unlocked. At first the skills don't look like much but they change a lot especially the ranged ones. The weapons are diverse and support various game styles. You really feel rewarded when you unlock a new one. The fact that there is no parkour in "Days gone" only plays in it's advantage. The only annoying part is the fuel for Deek's bike early on but as you upgrade your bike it becomes less of an issue. I had a lot of fun with the game and I'm really sorry that there will be no sequel.

Missed opportunity for two reasons - the first is the Wild West setting which I find extremely boring but the second is even more important. It doesn't have enough RPG elements which ruins my motivation to do side missions and even to progress through the story. Otherwise it could have been in the same league as the best of Ubisoft like AC Odyssey or Far Cry series. Add endless horse riding and slow pace and you get the picture. Controls are messy and chaotic. Why would you even think about not putting run/horse gallop under L3?!? Hittin A is just ridiculous. "Autodrive" by switching to cinematic camera only works from time to time. Showing quest log is so well hidden that I wonder if game designers wanted that it was found at all. Tracking side quest is next to impossible. Nice touch and beautiful details. That's pretty much all you are paying for. Boring after 2-3 hours.
