Sad account of someone who had too much success, money and lack of accountability for his own good. He screwed up his relationships and as he was unraveling was cheered on by fans. He got caught up in the twisted USA celebrity machine. This bizarre state of affairs was chronicled well by the documentary but if the result is once again he can say “look they still love me,” it’s not the best thing for a guy like him. He seems like he has a big heart and is very likable and charming. I really hope he stays sober and stops looking for approval from misguided “fans” who cheered him on while he plunged into severe addiction.

It was dumb with major plot holes and plot devices clumsily wedged in. It was still entertaining, but in a generic way - Explosions! Revenge! It was surprising to see some of the rave reviews. It was by no stretch a 4 or 5 star movie and I did a double take when I read reviews praising the acting, which was barely serviceable. Maybe big studio money has figured out how to rig these reviews. I liked the first one a lot more.

I really like it. It has interesting characters and is engaging and funny. The people have grit and heart - I liked that about the original Bosch series also. For some people here 4 stars seems to mean just OK - not me - for me a 4 star review means really good while 5 stars would mean amazing.

This is a fabulous series. The characters are all interesting with different styles and approaches to their work in an Emergency room in a Pittsburgh hospital. The interactions seem real and capture something deeply human. There are various story arcs expertly woven throughout. The pacing is perfect. It is intense but always has a heart. Noah Wylie is phenomenal - his character displays amazing competence paired with deep humanity and aching vulnerability. He can convey worlds of emotions through facial expressions alone. There is enough really good humor to keep it from getting too somber. The acting and writing are top notch. Very highly recommended. My wife loved it too!

I love it. It's got a ton of action, the dialogue is often really funny and always entertaining, and I like an old fashioned show where the good guys usually win.

I thought it was going to be like White Lotus and I would just hate watch totally obnoxious rich people with no morals who would never experience any consequences for anything. Then it turned into a decent mystery. It was fun to joke with my wife about how horrid the characters were, but there was enough comic relief to keep it all from getting too intense. The cops provided some good, normal human grounding to counterbalance the bat shit crazy family the story centers on. There were a few things I was hoping would happen that actually did unlike the frequent ending in current shows where everything turns to shit and nothing works out.

Outstanding. This was the best T.V. I have seen in years. I was mesmerized by the characters, the history, the customs, the scenery and the setting. The story had a powerful emotional impact on me. Two of the lead characters - Mariko and Toranaga - are unforgettable.

It's much better than the Rotten Tomatoes reviews. There is heart and humanity at its core, though some find it overly bleak. I appreciated the acting, the writing and the story.

I love this show. It's funny, the characters are great and it has a big heart.

Saw the reviews and had high hopes. The premise of someone with memory loss putting pieces of a mystery together was clever but the movie was really slow and boring. The time jumps kinda gave me a headache.
