I know this show has been off since 2008 however the only reason I stopped watching her show is because she treats the young ladies and women that come on her show poorly when they are before her in dispute. Especially young ladies. I have a son and a daughter and I see personally what our young men deal with in this life but she goes to the point of unfairness. For instance, she handled a case where the young man and his mother was there with the young lady and her mother. They had a school project together taking care of a baby. On day one he comes and takes the baby from her, against their original arrangement, saying that she isn't doing a good job. He keeps the baby for 3 days straight the baby dies. The judge says the young lady should have reached out to the teacher about the situation and held the young lady fully responsible for the $2000. The young man could have reached out to the teacher but she said nothing to him. Then she went on to tell the young lady to get a job to make her more responsible. This is very typical of Judge Hatchett's decisions in these situations. I think she is always jaded because she has 2 sons and she seems jaded by what's her own sons experience in their own lives. I am very so to hear about the loss of her daughter in law.
