DRIVE!!! Certainly a movie to Drive away from... A movie directed by Tarun Mansukhani is something many of us were looking forward to and if it's been aired by the streaming giant Netflix, you would want to spend a couple of hours of your life on it. But alas what a waste of those of couple of hours!! A good star cast comprising of Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi should have been able to deliver us a treat but all they could conjure up is a bag of old Bollywood tricks. Have no clue as to what the police informant or the 2 aiders of Jacqueline had to do in the movie but if you think about it no one actually did anything. A few dialogues of Pankaj Tripathi and the hotness quotient of Jacqueline were the only plus points of the movie. Boman and Sushant try way too hard and the rest did not even bother to try. Tarun tries to bring up a story which is a combination of Fast and the Furious franchise and all the money heist movies in the history of film making but fails like David Warner in the 2019 Ashes series. Most of the scenes including Rashtrapati Bhawan and car chase scenes were CGI but the worst and the cheapest CGI ever. It did bring back my childhood memories of video games because it felt I am in one of them. This is certainly one of the movies which you will always remember but for all the wrong reasons and the biggest one been that it's aired on Netflix. Beat that Thugs of Hindostan!!!!
