I just shake my head at these one star reviews because a movie fully disclosed as a musical adaptation of the theatre production had “too much singing in it”. On saying that my partner are by no means fans of musicals but we both loved the movie! The first ten minutes was a bit chaotic as it set the scene for the flashback but after that it was excellent. All the casting was excellent but a special congratulations to Ariana who did so well in her role.

I’m a long time reader of Terry Brooks but I went in with an open mind. I understand the reason for the significant plot changes to give it more sub plots for TV viewing. But the one fact I can’t get past is in this series they spend weeks travelling through forests and mountains to get to Safehold and then manage to ride back on horses in one day. Yes they had delays there but the travelling times of all the plots are badly distorted in this whole series so far .......
