In a whole, America Dirt is a great book. I’m not with the dialogue, “the author is a non Hispanic or denied heritage.” Instead, ask yourself. Why can’t she explain the narrative? Maybe, the story was the inside scoop to a loved ones struggle. If we are going to make mountains into mole hills about this book, make all movies, documentaries, and television shows minority directed, minority acted, and minority written. Let’s not stop there.
