Growing up with the Jackson five, I remember just how talented five year old little Michael was. Although, his other brothers were also talented. Little Michael was always the star of the group.. I also know that his father "Joe" was a strict, abusive father, who abused his power by wanting nothing more than fame and fortune. for himself, By using his boy's (especially Michael) to get there..
I remember when Diana Ross had taken michael under her wing..and introduced him to Barry Gordy of motown records..thats when it really had taken off! I.just loved watching this little guy dance and perform..His father didn't care about thier getting good education..Or, caring that he didn't have normal childhood.. michael was a meal ticket to being rich an famous. And moving out of the tiny house they lived in. In Gary, In.. I just wonder how many powerful men in the entertainment industry also abused michael sexually before he could finally stand up to his father. Once he was older! I remember when Thriller came out, and hearing it for the first time. I was completely mesmerized, thinking this was his best solo album ever! I am also die hard MJ fan..and it makes me so sad trying to comprehend why he turned out this way. And did what he did to all those young boys.. That being said, and after watching the doc..And as much as i hate admitting this! I believe that these two men are telling the truth...i just wish that MJ would have gotten the help and treatment right after the first boy that he had sexually abused, and also completely destroyed. I also blame his father, just like i blame these kids parent's as well!
Wow! The price you pay for wanting fame!
