I was prepared for just another period drama. If you have a need to classify films, it is certainly that. But...I thought is was very well crafted, superbly acted and about subject matter that I cannot believe I haven't wondered about before. From strictly a layman's point of view
, I thought all three principle actors were at the top of their game. And as a layman, aren't we the demographic that production studios are marketing their product to?
