It seems promising, I kind of like the inclusion of different backgrounds and ethnicities and I think that’s fine as a fictional show, however I think it’s too much. It feels like I am watching a “woke” show. Aside from that the story is interesting and despite finding the fact that Dr Watson needs information instead of going out for it with Holmes (who is notorious for his amazing scanning skills). Most of the time it also felt like a show that should belong in CBBC more than Netflix, however that’s my opinion, and possibly a result of watching more intense and slow burning shows. All in all I suggest you give it a try at least first and second episode and see where it goes from there, I like how it’s trying to introduce fresh ideas and include different races, but it does feel a little childish at times.
