Wow, what a book! Any story that is based on real life events is captivating in itself, but considering this was the authors first published book, she has done a marvellous job! I could not put the book down, and having visited Auschwitz a few years ago, I could picture the buildings, blocks, crematorium and the journey that Lale took. Cannot recommend this book highly enough!
