It’s not always what it seems. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Even if the trope is familiar. I think the story telling and cinematography are unique and very entertaining. Though I genuinely enjoyed the movie, I did not enjoy the main character. I’m not sure if it what was the character’s persona or the actress playing her but she was the only annoying part of the movie. I really wish someone else played the antagonist, the actress just didn’t do it for me.

I was so excited for this movie for several reasons but I was most definitely disappointed. The only thing I really enjoyed about the movie was the cinematography. Potential to be a good comedy but the dialogue and accents were terrible. The execution of the plot wasn’t very interesting and, y’all gon hate me, but the same plot that they portray in every Black movie. Of course, I don’t regret supporting and I still encourage everyone to check it out.

I really enjoyed this movie. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The movie was chaotic in every way possible. Jesse Eisenberg’s performance was incredible. I do not understand the bad reviews because the performance was incredible. I truly felt for the main character but also thought the was an idiot. But hey, what do you tell someone that has everything to lose but truly doesn’t believe it? Wonderful movie. I recommend.

The action and cinematography are very good but the dialogue is so cringe that it’s painful to sit through. I know that they’re supposed to be “kids” but the dialogue could be so much better. The villain goddesses were the most badass part Of the movie. I want to tkntinie watching because I like the fighting scenes and the goddesses but the main cast, especially the kid on crutches, is super annoying.
