The mom and the chocolate salt n pepper are what's making me continue to watch this show. To be fair I'm only into episode 4, most people I see have stopped at 3. What makes this show so annoying is they have this 30 yr old woman portraying the female version of Mr Magoo. It's as if she has the common sense of a 14 yr old child. After the first incident, she doesn't have the sense to know there is blood on your hands, her change, basically think straight. okay. But a couple hours later, she can gets it together to stop at a library in the dead man's truck to play Google super detective agent. Because I guess they don't have libraries in Maine where she's supposed to be. Seeing a man is tracking her at the library, guess what she feels safe smoozing up to that evening at a bar.........yup a man lol. My biggest issue is her at the prison and the lady tells her the name she knows the picture of her mother as. Knowing someone just tried to kill her mother. Mr Magoo asks the prison lady, are you sure? And proceeds to tell the mother's current name, location, job title, and location of job. This is all within the first 3 episodes and I left out a few other Mr Magoo moments. These incidents could have been hit differently without her looking dumb. I'm just hoping it gets better. Because the mom plays that character well. I've started fast fowarding through most of Mr Magoo's parts. BONUS: for Ms Magoo is HER FACE ACTUALLY MOVES! She's a great actress, I believe she's her character. Just a badly written part in the beginning. Round of applause to her for not doing the botox frozen face injection prior to filming.

I LOVE The First Wives Club movie, so I gave this a try. A for effort. It is a fun watch. The idea of the show is great. The writing could be better. What would have been great is if Penny from Happy Endings was Jodie. Maggie's (Sarah) comedic timing is on point. Who knew she was funny? I think it would have been funnier if she went into teaching wanting to 'inspire' thinking it would be less stressful. With the black guy as the principle. She could probably pick up an art class and convince one of them to nude model. Or have them all chaperone a dance. Eliza as Amy is hilarious. She should have a travel thermos saying 'Jesus touched this water'
